I had an amazing stay at this hostel in Santiago! The value for money was unbeatable and the room was super comfortable. The location was perfect, close to the bus station and within walking distance of the old quarter. The staff at Albergue Scq were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

We stayed at an exceptional budget accommodation with a great location, within walking distance of the old quarter. the beds were very comfortable and the hostel was impeccably clean. the common area was spacious and perfect for both eating and relaxing. the breakfast available all day long was a brilliant idea and the hospitality of the staff was amazing.
The walk to the central area was a little long and could be a bit tiring at times.

the owner of Albergue Scq was incredibly kind, allowing me to leave my backpack in the front room until my room was ready. the owner was very helpful, answering questions and assisting other guests. the place itself was clean, comfortable, and even offered free breakfast. I'll definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
I also enjoyed the board displaying the number of guests from different countries. Cons: Nothing, no complaints at all.

I had an exceptional stay at a cozy hostel in a great location. The host, Pablo, was friendly and made me feel right at home. The dorm rooms were comfortable and not overcrowded. The well-stocked kitchen allowed me to cook my own meals, and the included breakfast was a nice touch. Plus, it was only a short walk to the city center. I highly recommend this place.
Although the location was not too far from the historical city center, it would have been more convenient if it was a bit closer. Additionally, there was some inconvenience during check-in as there was no staff present, and we had to call the owner for access and instructions.

The hostel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the beds were comfortable. It was also a great advantage being located close to the bus station, making it convenient for traveling to and from the airport. the hostel offered a free breakfast, which was a nice bonus and helped save on expenses.
That the hostel was a bit far from the city center. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the main attractions.

Albergue Scq was the best albergue on my entire Camino experience. We stayed twice and loved the super clean and comfortable dorms. The staff, especially Jose, were awesome and always willing to help. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Cathedral and close to supermarkets, cafes, and pubs. The breakfast was simple but good, and it was nice to have access to it all day long. we had a great experience at Albergue Scq and will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The staff is extremely helpful and provides clear directions for getting around the area. The rooms are clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and plenty of outlets for charging devices.
